Find Care & Housing
Does he receive Disability Social Security or SSI, which is a supplimental income. If so, he has Medicare as primary and Medicaid as secondary. If receiving Medicaid, have you asked if u can be paid thru them to be a caregiver for boyfriend? You, at least, can receive an aide. If you get enough hours, maybe u can find a p/t job.

In PA some homecare agencies will train and pay you to care for a LO or friend. You become their employee and may get benefits. Call around and see if any of the agencies provide this service.

If the programs in Florida keep denying you, why don’t you get a job outside the home and bring in paid caregivers through the PDO program?

I don’t know how it works. Was he a vet that served during war time? Is that how his injuries occurred. Asking because if he was, you can get financial aid and assistance from veterans administration. Otherwise, I have no idea? Is he on Medicaid to get some help? I’m sorry that I can’t be of more help. Hugs! Best wishes to you and your partner.
