Hi
This might be a challenging task. Every facility is different in what they provide and for how long. You can always search on the Internet for facilities closer to you and call and ask. Or you may find a senior housing placement specialist who can help you better.
Hope, you will get the best according to your need and requirements.
Good Luck!!

Can you work with your local Area Agency on Aging? It can be tough. I live in a major metropolitan area and tried to help my mentor - a wonderful man with only $700 per month from Social Security. He ended up moving to a college town about an hour away where his assisted senior living is based on his income, so he still has some money left over each month for his car and food, plus in a college town - there are a lot of stimulating activities and a great hospital system. His AL has vans that take him to appointments, grocery shopping, etc.

It might be a challenge but you should be able to eventually find something that will work. Good luck to you. If you wouldn't mind - can you share what you found - it will help others of us.
