How should I respond to a negative review made about the company I work for? It is fraudulent and we have lost clients because of this review. This is what was posted: "Please don’t let this place watch over your love ones. One of their caregivers fought another staff at another building. This place hires people who are not qualified for the job. Beware of this company!" This person is trying to negatively affect our reputation.
We have 3 positive reviews after that.

This is not your fight,
YOU do not respond at all.
This is for your boss, or the owner of the company to manage. If they wish they can take legal action. But if you do anything / post anything that may hinder any action they pursue.
Anyone looking through "Social" Media knows well to take any review read it and compare it and do proper research. I doubt that you have actually lost clients because of this 1 review.

Nothing you can do about it. People are entitled to their opinions. I would not respond without asking the administrator if its OK.

Why don't you inquire at the place that posts the reviews? This is not a caregiving issue.

You company's management should consult an attorney.
Ruining the reputation of a company without truth/with lies, can fall under libel and slander laws.
You would then respond wherever the review is posted that you are pursuing libel and slander suits from the respondent to interview.

You can ask pleased clients to post good reviews. This is what counters negative ones. The companies or employees I’ve seen who fight back against a negative review often unintentionally look petty or unprofessional. Every business gets negative reviews at times, even unfair ones. The business I work for has asked happy clients to post good reviews and they have been glad to do so. Time also makes bad reviews go further down a list and therefore less noticed
