Find Care & Housing
Steph, first off, I'm just so sorry that you are going through this. Do you have any support system in place at home now? Are your children adults, or do you live with a spouse or friend?

A Hospice evaluation is generally ordered by one's doctor. Did your doctor tell you that it's time for Hospice to be called? Almost every hospice organization that I'm familiar with is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans. But you'd have to ask the individual organization you call to make sure.

Hospice is not 24/7 care. You would still need someone doing the caregiving on a day to day basis in your home. There is a tab on this site marked "eldercare". If you go to that menu, I believe one of the options is Hospice and you can search further. Godspeed, my friend.
