Caregivers who can care for couple,one with dementia. 90 year old parents, one with dementia,  both become undone with any suggestion for care giving, and refuse to leave their home: what in home care is available?

Good luck since it sounds like your parents would refuse anyone who came to the door to be their caregiver. My parents were the same way, their stock answer was "we can manage".

The only way to get a caregiver in the house or to have your parents move to an elder friendly environment is whenever there is a medical crises, and sometimes that doesn't even work. For my parents, it was Mom having a very serious fall where she spent her final days in long-term-care... after she passed, two weeks late my Dad decided it was time to move from their house and into senior living.

My Dad did have caregivers while my Mom was in long-term-care, I called an Agency that was licensed, bonded, insured, and had workman's comp for their employees.
