My neighbor was active...but had an accident...now is recovered...but already was a hoarder...now she's still a hoarder, her house is nasty, she won't really let you clean it out, pretty sure she's stopped taking her meds...doesn't bathe...she's only willing to accept help if it's you doing everything for her, getting mail, buying groceries, etc...is this something that department of human services can assist with? There is no family for her. She also has 2 dogs (I'm trying to find homes for) and 4 cats in the house.

You county social services can look in on her. Contact their office of the aging or ask Adult Protection Services (APS) to check on her welfare.
