If one hires an elder care attorney to assist with Medicaid help for a parent can the fee to the attorney be paid from parent's funds?

Thank you all. After dealing with Florence in SC came to NY to deal with selling our house here and were hit with a tornado and no power for a day.

Yes, anything spent for them is acceptable for them to pay.
Spend down regulations are really for those people that are trying to hide their money and assets so taxpayers can pay their bills while their kids get a fat inheritance.
