I'm helping a friend who's dementia is getting worse. The apartment manager where she lives will not discuss anything in front of me. What can I do?

Tha apartment manager only wants to talk to her son who lives in another state. She thinks he is power of attorney, but he is not. What can I do?

What does the son think about you helping this person? If he's okay with it, can he give his permission for the manager to talk to you? Probably written permission is what's needed. I'd ask the manager what it will take.
