Help with my moms rent?

My mom is 85, only income she had is social security. Can she get help paying her rent? She lives in BUFFALO New York, she lives in a senoir apartment comlpex

Social Services in your County should be able to help, too. What she needs is help from HUD. Unless, her Senior apt is a HUD apt. If so, she is already getting help. They get 30% of her SS. What she has left should pay for her utilities and food. She can get help with food and electric.

She needs to apply with county housing to see if she qualifies for a low income apartment based on her income.

Contact her local Area Agency on Aging and inquire about assistance programs in her area
