The supplement "industry" in 2018 was approx 31 billion (not clear if this was just the US or world-wide). It is being forecast to go up to 400 billion by 2024 (probably due to CBD and medical marijuana development). Not yet as big as the pharma industry, but big enough. It's for-profit and there's just as much "greed" and unethical behavior as in any other business. Not to mention the inherent dangers of greed + no regulations/protections for consumers. These businesses prey directly on the desperation of people such as yourself. At least with pharma, they have to prove themselves before going into the marketplace. And you have legal recourse if they fail. Not so with supplements. Please choose your therapies with eyes wide open and doing lots of research from scientific/medical, reliable sources, like the Mayo. Blessings!

Why are you wasting your time and money on unproven products?. The Alz Association does not recommend this. I cannot copy and paste the URL but go to the Mayo clinic website and type in Axona: medical food to treat Alzheimer's. The supplimental industry is not regulated. There are not enough studies out there to support the claims. Rigorous studies are not based on feelings such as they "appear to work"
