My mother is on disability due to severe copd. She has to be on oxygen 24/7.  She has a medical card but it will no longer cover her oxygen. Is there any programs she can get help from? She can't afford to support her and my dad, and pay for her oxygen and everyday things they need.

Leslie, what do you mean by "a medical card"? A Medicare card? Is your mother getting Medicare? And if so, who prescribed the oxygen? That doctor would arrange for a Medicare DME supplier to provide the oxygen, and Medicare would pay for it. Is she older enough to qualify for Medicare?

Or is your mother getting Medicaid?
