Wanted to know if anyone has used the PureWick for their family member and what you thought of it.. Pros and cons, and it is worth the money to invest in.

From other posts, insurance will not cover and supply costs will be over $200/ month

If you good to their website you'll see that it is expensive and I think not covered by insurance or Medicare. The user needs to put the wick between her legs AND KEEP IT THERE or it won't work. So, not for people with dementia as I can tell.

I have no experience with PureWick. My daughter is an RN at a huge hospital and says they always leak in her experience. Hope you’ll get good advice from others
