Mom is at home with caregivers. She gets several times at night to use the toilet. She has started falling out of bed while asleep and they haven't been able to get her up and back in bed.

I haven't heard of them, but am interested. Falling out of bed seems to be a common problem. Since rails are not an option, this foam idea sounds interesting. I hope someone here will have some information about it.

The foam bolsters sound like a good idea if your Mom didn't need to get up during the night to use the bathroom. I would be worried that she might hurt herself trying to climb over the bolsters.

Curious why the Caregiver cannot get your Mom up and back into bed when she does fall out of bed? Is she in a deep sleep and doesn't wake up, thus becomes what is called dead-weight?
