I am looking for a service provider that hires, schedules, and manages the different companies that come to help at my parent's home. They would be a single point of contact for all providers other than medical/therapy. So, basically, we will need to hire a house-keeper, mowing/snow removal company, handyman for odd jobs, someone to help with ordering meal delivery services (like Meals on Wheels, Blue Apron, Home Chef, etc), and a laundry person. My family and job responsibilities are such that I can no longer manage all of the things. Are there companies out there that do this? I did some internet looking and found what is called "Concierge Services" but it seems like the search is just returning the idea of this product without any actual companies that offer it. Hoping someone on here has found a company that can be hired to coordinate everyone's schedule and take care of substitutes for no shows, etc. Extra Bonus points if they are in central Illinois or the midwest.

This would be more of a personal assistant job. You could call a temp agency and see if they have someone qualified and willing to do this. You could start it out as temporary and when you find the right person, try to hire them long-term. (I know someone who did this for a retired CEO.)

This is not what a Geriatric Care Manager does. Look into Personal Assistant Agencies, who will connect you with candidates but will also require a finder's fee.

What's the budget your parent is willing to spend monthly? Honestly at the rate of labor right now it will probably be less expensive to just move into a very high-end AL facility.

A "geriatric case manager" might serve in this capacity or know agencies/individuals who do.

You need to look into Licensed Fiduciary services. Elder Law attorneys work with through our court systems when there is no family to act on behalf of seniors. Look them up online or ask local Elder Law Attorney how to obtain a list in your area, and discuss with them. Do know this isn't without expense. At the time my brother's friend had one 7 years ago they ran about 90.00 an hour. I would say you are looking at least 150.00 an hour now. And of course, the more they do, the more these hours add up.

Good luck.
