He says it feels like metal on his jaw or cheek area. We have been on three visits to dentists but they can't find anything. Is there someone else who had an experience or come across this situation? We need answers please.
Maybe talk to his neurologist about this. If painful could it be referred pain from somewhere else in his neck or other area? Maybe a doctor could order an ultrasound to see if there is something that wouldn't show up on a dental x-ray. Haven't heard of anything like this being related to Parkinson's Disease.
I've had no experience with this, but I'm wondering if the dentists he's seen took x-rays. Did your husband ever wear braces for his teeth? Ever have a plate or anything inserted in his jaw pursuant to an accident? I don't know if you could get an appointment with an orthodontist or endodontist, but I know that the latter provide dental services beyond that of regular dentists.
Also, teeth can move over the years.
