Example, my Dad got a really good deal on an Independent Living apartment because it was in January, it was snowy, and there were no takers. Dad didn't know if he wanted the unit so to seal the deal the Rep gave Dad a nice discount on the monthly rent, good for one year. Now the Rep wasn't a real estate agent but an employee of the complex.
