My two sisters and I are co-executrices of our mother's will. She owns and lives in her own home. Must we agree to sell it, or does that have to be specified in the will?

Find Care & Housing
It depends on how the house is titled. Assuming it's in the name of your mother alone, with no other people or entities (like a trust) on the deed, it will need to be sold to settle the estate. One of you could buy it. But, in my experience, you cannot close out the estate until the house sells.
