I'm assuming this is a caregiver agency? I don't think they'll call you back in 24 hrs... (and now it's Friday and they won't call back on a weekend most likely) but if you don't hear back by next Monday afternoon or Tuesday, I'd give them a call.
If you need a certain level of care for specific amounts of time, they need time to find the people to fill your needs. Right now there are staffing shortages in many places.
