Find Care & Housing
No such thing. Long Term Care Insurance does not cover Independent Living. Read the fine print. LTC is for nursing home care, not IL or even AL. CCRC's also have entry fees, HUGE entry fees that no one covers.

Masonicare has Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing for Long Term Care. I am planning for the future and moving to Independent Living. After a period of time, I would like to benefit from having Long Term Insurance for long term care. My question was about getting the LTI now.

LTC policies vary. My SIL has one that will help with in-home care, assisted living or skilled care. You can probably do some preliminary research on-line and narrow your choices. An independent insurance agent who is not associated with just a single company may be able to help.
