Can the grandchildren who live in Ohio get guardianship over their grandmother who lives in New Jersey and have a power of attorney.

Dustoff is correct. Judges want a Guardian to be within their jurisdiction. You won't get a guardianship in NJ, you are too far away and the judge has no means to summon you to court across state lines.
