I am 43 years old and I receive social security disability. I have no life insurance. I have a brain injury from a car accident, suffered from epilepsy, right peripheral vision loss, and have short term memory loss. Am I eligible for life insurance?
If you have to provide any medical info, probably not on your own. There are some whole life policies out there that may accept you. If you have a spouse or life partner who has a group term life policy through work that person may be able to cover you also for additional cost. The coverage is less than the employed partner can receive. Rather than life insurance you may want to look into burial insurance to cover your final expenses. I don't know the circumstances of the car accident but is there anything you could recoup from that?
