Thank you - I am not a caregiver but am a 73-year-old who is married to a 77 year-old who farms and helps my son but he is kind of a workaholic - I have friends but still not enough to feel not lonely so am just looking for a forum. I think I am doing what would be suggested but still most of my friends have husbands and do things with them but my husband is h*ll bent on working when the timing is right which is understandable for a farmer but his priorities are not mine. At his age, I feel he should be having a little fun with me but he did say he will take me to the city in August for a few days - but weekends are the worst as not much going on in the town I live in - small - only 4,000 people - even senior center is closed on weekends. Anyway, will wait for your response - thanks again for listening to me.

Well hello from one Kansas Farmgirl to another! South of Wichita close to the Oklahoma border. Living between a field of wheat and another of corn. If you get bored go to caregivers behaving badly on this forum. They will make you laugh! Welcome!

I would try this forum offered by AARP, sounds like a good group to start with.
