I am mental health client my therapist is moving for a new agency. Can I go with her for the new agency?

I would like to know if I as medicaid insured can continue working with my same therapist in case she start working in a new agency or not?.

If you are in managed care on Medicaid, ask your case manager. Also, if your therapist signed a "no compete" agreement, he/she cannot take any cases to the new agency.

It would all depend if the new agency accepts medicaid or not. You would need to ask your therapist. I hope you can continue with same person, especially if you feel he/she is good.
