Time seems to go too fast each day. How do you fit in all the therapies at home. Meals, walks ( we only manage one a day). errands, outside therapy appointments, my own stuff, etc.

I absolutely am astounded to learn that some caregiving spouses have affairs ... not because I judge them morally but because I can't imagine how they find the time!

As others have said, sort out what is essential to do, what can be done by others (such as delivery services), and what can be done less often or not at all. You simply cannot keep doing everything you used to do and absorb the caregiving responsibilities as well.

Boy oh boy, don't ask me! I have been falling asleep over my clinic and inpatient notes almost daily the past few weeks. AND not keeping up with housework. I need to get off of here and FB and get back to work but I get so mental I just need to do ANYTHING else but for a few more minutes...

Hadnuff, if grocery shopping is one errand and it can be time consuming, does your area have any grocery stores that offers on-line grocery ordering service? You order your groceries, set up a day for pick-up [maybe while hubby is having physical therapy] or pay for at home delivery.

I use a company called PeaPod and have been using them once a week for about 2 years now. What a time saver once I got through the learning curve of using the software. That way, I can order groceries at midnight if I wanted, or at 4 in the morning for next day pick-up or home delivery.

You have to prioritize and severely cut back on non mandatory activities, or those that can be stretched out to less frequently than you might normally do under other circumstances.

Hadnuff, we don't find time for everything. I am at least 2 years behind on my doctor appointments.... been over year since I had my hair cut... hadn't polished my furniture in over a year, lucky I occasionally have the energy to dust it once a month.... the bathrooms are looking more and more like gas station bathrooms... the refrigerator has mostly hot salad bar foods... I use to wash/wax my Jeep twice a year, last time was over 5 years ago, etc.

Welcome to the club, we have a lot of great members :)
