You are looking for an assisted living facility. They allow exactly what you're looking for. Google Lakeland Georgia assisted living and I think you'll find what you're looking for.
There are ALs who will accept a spouse with the patient. I doubt that insurance regs will allow the spouse to do heavy lifting or pill administration, but certainly the spouse can walk the main pt to the dining hall. A friend of ours with ALS went to a memory care just south of ATL for end of life care. His wife arrived when he woke up in the morning and held his hand while hospice came do do their work. She took all her meals there, and went home 14 hours later to sleep, knowing her husband was well taken care of overnight. It was comforting to both, but she could sleep better than she had in years because she was not responsible for night wakings etc.
