How to find out if my deceased mother had Medicaid?

I am trying to find out if Mom had Medicaid. She passed in 2014 at 92 and I need to know now if the had Medicaid. She had Medicare and Humana Gold. Did she automatically have it? Thanks....

Njoyoc67, trying calling the State Medicaid office where your Mom had lived, if she did have Medicaid they would have a record.

Njoyoc67, Medicaid is NOT automatic. Look for statements from Medicaid or Medicare. If you don't know, you need a lawyer to help you.

When i had to put mom in a home here in Alabama you have to apply for Medicaid once your approved they usually drop medicare.
