How do I find a home that my FIL will be comfortable in?

My FIL (62) has many health issues and needs to be in a home. I worry that being in a home with very elderly people will make him more depressed.

My MIL thought the same thing. Take him on tours of various places. He will get a lot of attention from the widows. There's about 10 women for every man in most ALF's. The men hang out together and believe me when I say he will have more fun with people closer to his own age.
