Where to find a place for my brother?

Either an assisted living, nursing home or boarding home in Elmore County or somewhere very close. He has brain injuries from a car wreck 20 years ago and is in Birmingham. He has to have dialysis 3 times a week and I am constantly working a 7 day shift job. It's hard for me to search on my own all the time. I am looking for some place near Montgomery or Elmore County. Please someone help me get him closer to him. I am not satisfied with the place he is in Birmingham. Thank you.

You will just have to do a search for the counties you are interested in; both for assisted living and nursing home. Contact your local Council on Aging for help as well. Good luck.

Talk to his county social worker, tell her you cannot do this any more.
