My father's nursing home fees are draining my account. Can I apply for financial assistance from the government?

my father is 94 and lives in a nursing home in New Jersey. the cost to me is over 2,0000.00 a month. this is draing my account. can I apply for assistance from the Government or State and get help for this problem?

The usual aid available for persons in a nursing home is Medicaid. Have you looked into that? As OncehatedDIL suggests, the social worker will be able to help you.

acmetals12, you haven't given enough information for people to be able to help you. Set up a meeting with the social worker at your dad's nursing home, they can assist you.
