My Dad had hospice set up in my home - cared for him since August w/my mom -- he passed away Oct 4, 2014 -- have not been to work because of this and concerned about keeping the roof over our heads while caring for my Mom. I am not sure how long this will go on and was wondering if there is any kind of aid or supplement while caring for my Mom to get me by in the interim. My husband works but doesn't make enough to make our ends meet. I was doing that with my contract work.

Please guide me and very worried -- I don't want to leave my mother alone -- what can I do, we have no other family members (siblings) living -- so this is on me. Thank you

Find Care & Housing
Contact DADS about help, or your county office of the aging. Mom should be getting SS from your father or her work history, possibly an increase if he has passed. If mom is eligible for Hospice, get that care for her too.
