Had your mom died when he married his present wife? If so, then I'm not sure what options you have to prove that the marriage due to coercion, fraud, etc. Can you prove he not competent to understand what he was doing? I think you would need to consult with an attorney in the state of marriage to see what proof you need.

If he knows he has Alzheimers, perhaps he decided to stop chemo treatment. It's not an unusual choice.

The POA may still be good, but he may have revoked it. Do you know if his wife has a current one? Also, often when you are out of state, you may have to get another person in the state where he is living to exercise POA. It varies by state.

Do you talk to him now? Do you have any reason to believe that he's not being treated fairly?

Whether Dad can validly revoke you as POA depends on how severe his dementia was at the time he did that.

Don't just see any attorney. Consult one who specializes in Elder Law.

(Stopping the chemo may not be a sign of not being able to make decisions for himself. Many people of sound mind do that.)
