My FIL spends too much on sweepstakes. Can I put them in the garbage before he see them?

I wouldn't even give them to him! If he had a PO Box they wouldn't even put junk mail in it! So I wouldn't even feel bad about throwing out junk mail before he sees it, just get the mail for him and throw it out .

Mom is 86, and we throw out the junk mail as soon as we see it. If it's on the table, we wait for her to go potty and make it disappear in little shreds.

my mothers buick recall notices mysteriously stopped after i lost my effing mind over them. yes, mail can be intercepted.
