Hello everyone. While I’m shuffling and shifting over the next two weeks packing and moving to our new place, I feel it is best for mom and I for her to go into a group home TEMPORARILY until after the moving is done. What have your experiences with placing a LO in a temporary group home? Do they have structured daily activities? Does insurance help with costs? Are there any risks of temporary placement such as it unwillingly ending up being permanent for any reason? Things to look for at the physical location of a private group home? Things that should be offered at a private group home?
Of course, my own research and gut feeling will help to decide which one is best for us, I would just appreciate some input and little things I may not think of. Thank you all in advance and have a great day!
