I have two letters from doctors confirming incapacity, why does he need this money. What does he need to do? He did say I need official documents and a trust administrator. Really? Can I do it myself? I have the original papers from 2006. That's a lot of money and there is no real property involved. Am I missing a crucial step or requirement?

Actually my relative already had these docs drawn up and notarized in 2006. I am new to this and asked him what the next step was. What does he need to do now? Anything? What additionally needs to happen for which he's asking for $1000? Can't I present the DPOA to banks, accountant, credit card, and the two letters and handle her bill paying?

You can do it yourself over the internet. It cost me about 30 to 50 dollars, depending on how much you want. My Mom has now passed on, but I did have poa legally until her death. Go to Legacy Writers and best of luck to you.
