Can I get a DPOA for healthcare if parent lives in Florida and I live in North Carolina?

Yes, I live in Texas and my Mom lives in Iowa. I got a lawyer in Iowa to draw up the DPOA. It requires a lot of faxing, scanning and Postal Service. Also, my siblings that are local help by saving receipts, etc.
