Does memory care take Medicare or Medicaid?

yes; but I have since found out that they don't, only nursing homes. However, if Hospice comes into play while at Memory Care, some things are covered but she'll have to pay the entire facility care. Thank you.

Does the facility have rehab, as in SNF, skilled nursing facility, post hospital? Yes, if so,for certain number of days.
Some memory care facilities will take Medicaid upon private pay initially for x period of time. Some without x period.
It is a tricky equation.

Nannybrister, by "take" do you mean pay for the room/board? Or do you mean paying for medicine while one is living in Memory Care?
