Memory care for my dad is about $7700 because I chose the largest room, but if I had chosen a smaller room it would have been $5500. A shared room is even less. Hospice brings in someone 2x a week for baths as well as a weekly nurse.

No, neither Medicare nor Hospice pays for caregivers. Hospice provides an aide maybe 3x a week for bathing and maybe giving some time for family member to run an errand. But family still provides care for the rest of the time.
As suggested, if running out of money may want to consider placing the person. Try to start with private pay and then applying for Medicaid before the money runs out. In my instance, I started the Medicaid application in April. Placed Mom May 1st, paying privately May and June. June I confirmed I had met all criteria, spent down Moms money, provided all info, and placed Mom all within the 90 days my State allows.
I know that hospice doesn't cover in-home caregivers, and I don't believe Medicare does either(I may be wrong on that so check with them). I know that Medicaid does allow for so many hours per month for in-home help, but it's not full-time. If you're paying over $10,000 a month for in-home care, you would be better off placing this person in a facility, as it will be thousands of dollars less to do so. And if money becomes an issue you can apply for Medicaid for this person as well. Best wishes.
