Does anyone know where I can find low income housing for a disabled senior on social security?

It is getting harder and harder to find low income housing. I'm so sorry your are in this position. Especially in CA, there are many thousands of homeless people who cannot afford the rents there. I see you are recovering from spinal cord surgery, have you tried to find help through your hospital's social work department? Or your city's social service office?

Where did you live before on your Ssdi check? Contact your caseworker.

Are u the 59 yr old. If so you maybe too young for some of the low income housing. Where I live its 62 and up for some. 55 and up for others. You could call your Office of Aging to see if they have a list of low income housing.
