Does anyone know if the cost of Memory Care is tax deductible?

The " medical care" costs of MC are deductible by the patient. Each MC business office will tell you the extent to which their costs are deductible.
My mom, who had pension and interest income, paid almost nothing in taxes while in a NH due to the ability to deduct those costs.
