My husband is in a rehab facility (nursing home) for PT and also for IV Antibiotics via a PICC line. Doctor has said he can leave nursing home?

home and receive IV once a day at local hospital. They said Medicare would pay for drugs and this service. Does this sound right? He has Part B and BCBS Supplement, but no Part D.

Avoid taking him home for now. If he was in a hospital, then transferred to the rehab it should be covered by medicare for now. Call Blue Cross and ask them to assign a nurse to your case. They are very good about this and it sure helps to have a person to call.
