I am behind, and now this year is here already, and have no idea how I will be able to catch up! Can you help or point me in the right direction. I would really appreciate it.

Find Care & Housing
I am assuming that you are asking about the taxes on the home you are living in and own. If so, many states have special exemptions for people who are older or disabled. In my state it is referred to as a homestead exemption, and low income elderly can get the tax on a certain amount of the value of their home forgiven. I suggest that you call the county assessor or the county treasurer of the county you live in and ask them if there are any programs to help you. If you qualify age and income-wise, and your home is not worth more that the average in your area, you may be able to get help.
