Ronnie, it is not unusual to see businesses charge extra if one uses a credit card. The business is just trying to cover the cost of the processing fee that is applied to them by the credit card company whenever a client uses their card. I have seen fees as high as 4%.
The caregiving Agency that my Dad used, we had an automatic pull from Dad's checking account..... but I realize that not everyone is able to have such large amounts pulled from an account. The Agency didn't even offer credit card payments.
