What diabetes supplies and support are covered by Medicare and Medicaid in Vermont?

As far as I know Medicare does not cover prescription items unless the patient is in a SNF (skilled nursing facility or nursing home). My husband was recently covered for all medications during his 100 day stay in a CA nursing center. Our secondary insurance has a prescription service plan that is optional. The TV commercials you see that the patient is encouraged to use their mail order service for diabetic supplies is geared for the Medicaid patients.
