Find Care & Housing
I've had a similar experience with an uncle. the staff at his nursing home told us that it's not rare that men get this way - their inhibitions and self-control are gone, all that's left is primal thought. We solved it by moving him into a veterans nursing home. The other men around seemed to calm him down, he knew he had to behave. He still bothered aides when left alone in his room with them. After a few months it eased up some what, I thought it was a progression in his disease but now I wonder if they didn't drug him to keep him calmer. I can't blame them if they did. I hope I don't scare you but after he got to this point, he only lived another 9 months or so.
