Dad will not shave or get a haircut! HELP!

I'll look for a thread in a minute, but I got a set of clippers (like the Wahl kind you can buy at a beauty supply store) and cut my dad's hair the last few years of his life. It was kind of nice for both of us, as we aren't a touchy/feely family, so I got to touch my dad more than usual and he loved the attention. The clippers are only about $30 and we paid for that in no time from the savings of haircuts and the time and effort it would have taken to get my dad to the barber. I'd also really trim his eyebrows and sideburns with the clippers, so he'd look sharp.

I also got him an electric shaver (he was the old school shaving brush and lather kind of guy) and he could sit in his La-Z boy chair and shave. It wasn't as close as his previous kind of shaving, bit it worked.
