If my Dad was on the ventilator and had anoxic brain injury for 6 months who has the POA rights over him?

His mom or if my dad was sick and he had no power of attorney who is in charge his mom or his kids if he was on a ventilator.

This depends on what state you are in. The hospitals also have rules and procedures that may vary. Ask for a copy of their rules, the nurses can explain this to you.
