I have noticed that he is also forgetting a lot - could this infatuation with sex have something to do with dementia? has anyone else encountered this with a elderly parent?
I have read that dementia can bring on a loss of inhibitions. I'd discuss it with his doctor. If it's not manageable or causes him distress, I'd ask about medication to reduce his libido.
