My dad got injured at work and he can't assign me to be power of attorney. I'm his next of kin and hes not married.

I'm sorry to learn of his injury, but ask the same question as Jessie. Did he suffer a head injury?
What are his prospects for recovery, and how long? Is he in a hospital, rehab facility, or at home?
