My Dad (89) has Parkinson's, aspirates and doesn't walk nor get out of bed. Any advice?

He eats very little food, has a catheter and won't drink enough. How long can he stay like this? I always new my Dad as a,tough guy, he still has his mind but his body is shutting done. :(

I am glad to hear that. Discuss your concerns with the nurse and/or the social worker.

My husband had dementia, but he seemed clearer in this thinking the last few weeks. It was his body that got weaker and weaker.

Hugs to you and to your father. This is a hard time.

Yes my Dad is on hospice since APRIL

Sunny5, have you consulted with a hospice organization? They can evaluate and help you understand what is going on.
