She is not taking my calls, emails, texts nothing can I make her give me half of the money? Signed...Sister feeling sister has greedy intentions.

Unfortunately, no signature means no contract. You can try civil court but.... another option is to try this free online website. You can ask this question and get free legal advice from these lawyers. Try "avvo" as in "a v v o"

You have no sister. You have a loser that just put a knife in your back. Were it me, she'd better pray I never laid eyes on her face again.

What Book said. You can try.

I would try getting a free consultation with an attorney specializing in wills and probate. Is there a will? Who is Executor for the estate? You may be able to get your inheritance after probate is complete but it can take time. An Executor has to distribute funds after taxes are paid in accordance w the will or state law. Be patient, don't give up! Good luck

I'm sorry for your loss of your father. How long ago exactly was that? How long since your sister gave you her (rather ambiguous, I have to say) reassurance? And how long since she's been apparently blanking all contact from you?

Next: did your father leave a will? If so, who is the executor?

Sister, yes, I am sorry about your dad....should have said that earlier..I know it's very hard and painful... especially a double whammy like this one... Keep posting and let us know how you're doing! You aren't alone here. *hugs*
